Thank you for your interest in the ARDOR School for Passion-Based Learning!
Registration is currently open for our 2020-2021 Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes. Going forward, we will be adding one grade every year. At ARDOR we believe in each child’s individuality therefore our placements are based on child’s emotional readiness and academic abilities, although our recommendation for Kindergarten students is to be 5 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.
Admissions Steps and Requirements:
Step 1 - Schedule a Tour or Attend an Admissions Event
We invite you to attend one of our Open Houses or schedule a tour to learn more about our curriculum prior to submitting an application for admission. Upcoming events will be posted on ARDOR
Step 2 – Complete and Submit an Application
If you are ready to join us, please request an application by email. Completed applications can be submitted in person or sent by mail to 29 Nassau Ave, Brooklyn NY 11222. Once a grade has closed, submitted applications will automatically go on the waiting list. There is a $75 application fee when you submit your application.
Step 3 – Register for a family meeting
After submitting your application, all applicants and at least one parent and/or legal guardian must attend a 30-minute meeting, where children will enjoy an informal open play session with ARDOR teachers, and parents/guardians will have an opportunity to ask questions about the school.
Admissions Notifications will be emailed within 10 business days after family meeting. Upon written notice of approval, a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is due, which is applied toward the year's tuition. Parents of children who have been placed on our waiting list will be contacted as space becomes available.
