ARDOR – (definition) a feeling of strong eagerness, passion and intense enthusiasm.
ARDOR School for Passion-Based Learning is an independent day school admitting children as young as 2 years old through 8th grade.
For 2021 – 2022 school year we are offering enrollment for 2 and 3 year old programs, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2. Going forward, we will be adding one grade every year.
The school is conveniently located in Brooklyn, on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, near the iconic McCarren Park. The newly renovated 3-story facility features spacious classrooms, large auditorium, gymnasium, dance studio, school kitchen, outdoor playground, and our own stage for theatrical performances.
Flexible schedule, after school programs, summer camp, as well as a variety of on-site daily activities are available all year round!
We enrich a joy for learning through a multi-faceted and rigorous curriculum, in which each child’s interests for defined areas of learning are the central focus. For every child to thrive, ARDOR School for Passion-Based Learning provides a core course of study combined with the comprehensive instruction based on students’ individual strengths and interests. Families have a choice of several IN-DEPTH areas of study, such as mathematics, science, humanities, sports and arts.
In addition to our academic programs, we strive to mold our students into great kind-hearted people! ARDOR passionately advocates a sense of community that helps each child and family feel connected and valued. We incorporate numerous social-emotional programs that promote kindness, thoughtfulness and cooperation to all members of the school community, including students, parents, faculty and staff. Our motto adheres to the philosophy that students become wholesome and respectable citizens with a sense of responsibility and respect for others within the school community and throughout the world beyond.
